Central Pennsylvania’s largest one day street festival features
purveyors of fine antiques, arts, and crafts. Traditional
Pennsylvania German and American festival food and drink will be
available on the streets and at the adjoining Firemen’s Field.
Entertainment plus an open house at The New Berlin Heritage Museum
(the original 1815 Union County Courthouse).

Let’s eat! Breakfast begins at The United Methodist Church at the corner of Plum & High. Coffee & pastry is found on the northwest corner of Market & Vine. Quiche and fruit crisp in Luther’s Garden (corner of Vine & High) are served from 9 am. Food court at Firemen’s Field featuring chicken barbeque, sandwiches, and desserts in full swing by 10:00 am. Beverage and food available at other points around the town center.

Strolling street musicians will perform throughout the day in the historic town center. Featured performers include:
*The Lowlander Highlanders will make a return engagement offering their fiddle and drum and then some, music from the Northern Appalachians.stroll with “spastic” music. Jim’s father was a New Berlin Native.
*Jim Wetzel & Friendswill return again this year with their barbershop serenade.

Packwood House Museum Quilt Weekend In conjunction with the 2009 Summer Exhibit, "Pennsylvania Quilts: Studies in Color/A Century of Antique Quilts from the Packwood House Museum quilt Collection," Packwood House Museum will be sponsoring a Quilt Weekend from August 21-23, 2009.
