New Berlin Day 2007
In the Heart of Central PA: The 41st annual New Berlin outdoor antique, arts and crafts shows. One of the largest street festivals in central PA. and with free parking. Strolling musicians will entertain you and a civil war skirmish and living history of camp life will enlighten you. With all the food stands you won’t know where to start first. The restored 1815 court house, now a museum will be opened and free. Come and take a chance on a hand quilted log cabin quilt or place a bid on the Silent Auction items. This year, the event takes place on Saturday August 27th from 9 am to 4 pm. There is so much to see and do. Over 125 antique dealers , artists and craftsmen. This event is held rain or shine. Come and spend the day with us. Small town America is alive.

Let’s eat! Breakfast begins at The United Methodist Church at the corner of Plum & High. Coffee & pastry is found on the northwest corner of Market & Vine. Quiche and fruit crisp in Luther’s Garden (corner of Vine & High)

Food--Plan to indulge in...chicken BBQ, hamburgers, hot dogs, ham salad sandwiches, hot sausage and pork BBQ sandwiches, fruit, french fries, funnel cake, ice cream and many more items at the Firemen’s Field. Beverage and food available at other points around the town center.

Town Gazebo is open for information and sale of New Berlin memorabilia. Also Union County Historical Society information and sales.

New Berlin Heritage Museum is in our 1815 restored Court House. Will be opened and free. We will be featuring: 150th Anniversary of the Civil War.

The 18th North Carolina Infantry, Company A will be doing a living history of camp life at the firemen’s field.

9:00 am – 2:30 pm Silent Auction- Will tempt you in to biddings on some beautifully crafted  items donated by our local artists. Northwest corner of town square.

Hand quilted log cabin quilt will be raffled off. Stop by and get your ticket.
